I’m going to miss this car, but unfortunately it’s time. The running costs are just too high to justify it.

I know that feeling, I just got rid of mine this past year. Once they hit a certain age, all the little plastic bits start going, and every time you drive you are constantly listening for any new noises. It’s just not worth it.

Seriously. The low used car prices there are unreal.

Sad to see it go, but you’ve got no use for it at the moment, so I definitely understand.

It has so many issues I don’t feel comfortable trying to charge much more. More just want it out of the way. I paid £280 for it, although I have out a couple hundred extra in parts into it.

The rust is a huge issue too. I repaired a lot but it just grows somewhere new.

It’s just not worth the £1000 for insurance and tax, plus all the repairs it would need.

Yeah, it’s just too much money/effort for what it is.

My first car was £300 and lasted a couple of years. There’s plenty around at a low price they just molight not be in the best shape.
